Let’s break down each model to help you decide which is best for your specific needs.

Plasma Level 1

For metal cutting on a budget, Laguna Tools offers the Plasma CutMaster Level 1 machine. This entry-level model is unlike anything else in its class. With power supplies up to 85 amps and an all steel welded frame, the Level 1 CutMaster is built for everyday use and long term reliability.

Standard equipment includes a rack and pinion drive system on the X and Y axes, 25mm square bearings and rails, and FastCam software. The machine is also compatible with most other cad/cam software on the market. A breakaway torch and automatic torch height control are also standard features.

There are three table sizes that you can choose from including 4x4, 4x8, and 5x10. Taking things a step further, the Plasma Level 1 is also offered with Thermal Dynamics or Hypertherm Power Supplies and includes a fully integrated control system with a built in parts library.

Using this machine, you are guaranteed that you will get the right results by viewing the program preview or running a dry run or trace. The easy-to-use controller works with the metric system or inches, and it can operate in multiple languages.

It also has a vast library of commonly used shapes that you can choose when you don’t want to create a design by yourself.

Plasma Level 2

The mid-level Plasma CutMaster 2 is a great intermediate option for a broad range of shops. Budget-friendly and easy to learn on, this machine features an adjustable water table and a heavy a tubular steel welded frame for the most accurate results. It’s stable, reliable, and produces high-quality edges every time.

Standard equipment on the Level 2 model includes precision square profile linear bearings on the X, Y, and Z axes, a helical rack and pinion drive system for the X and Y axes, covered bearing rails on the Y-axis, and the FastCam software. The centralized oiling system carries over from the Level 1 model to ensure that all of the internal components are moving smoothly.

Again, there are three standard table sizes to choose from and three various torch sizes as well. You can mix and match table and torch sizes, choosing between 4x4, 4x8, and 5x10 for table sizes and A60, A80, and A120 torch sizes.

This model comes with a PLC CNC controller that gives you the freedom to things that many other machines in this class do not. Scaling and nesting are easy with this handy controller, and you can easily preview your program, trace, and perform a dry run.

With a library of pre-designed templates on the controller, you can produce commonly used shapes quickly and efficiently without having to create your own.

Plasma Level 3

If you are looking for an industrial-strength plasma cutter, the Plasma I-Cut Level 3 is the machine for you. The last 32 years of plasma machine production at Laguna Tools has resulted in this innovative machine.

Standard equipment includes an adjustable water table, heavy-duty support spikes, a tubular steel frame, 25mm HIWIN square rails on the X and Y axes, the advanced Thermal Dynamics I-CNC Servo Control System. It also comes with built-in WiFi, an I-CNC Laser Alignment System, and Victor CAM software that runs on a personal computer or the machine. Automatic height control makes it easy to adjust the height with the help of the I-CNC Z-Axis Lifter, and you still have multiple options for table and torch sizes.

Whether you are looking for a machine with a hi-definition unit for the most precise applications or you need to cut through 1" plate, The level 3 plasma can be configured to get the job done.
